retail sales volume up 1.4 percent compared to the previous month

Seasonally and calendar adjusted retail sales volume increased by 1.4% in October 2015 compared to the previous month. In the same month; food, beverage and tobacco sales increased by 0.2%, non-food sales (excluding automotive fuel) increased by 2.7% and automotive fuel sales increased by 0.2%.

When the change in non-food sectors compared to the previous month is examined; computer, book and communication equipment sales increased by 1.4%, electrical goods and furniture sales increased by 5.0%, textile, clothing and footwear sales increased by 5.1%, medical products and cosmetics sales decreased by 0.4%, mail or internet Sales decreased by 0.8%.

Retail sales volume increased by 3.4% compared to the same month of the previous year

Calendar adjusted retail sales volume increased by 3.4% in October 2015 compared to the same month of the previous year. In the same month; while food, beverage and tobacco sales increased by 8.6%, non-food sales (excluding automotive fuel) decreased by 1.1% and automotive fuel sales increased by 7.0%.

When the change in non-food sectors compared to the same month of the previous year is examined; sales of computers, books and communication devices decreased by 8.0%, electrical and furniture sales decreased by 0.7%, textiles, clothing and footwear sales increased by 9.0%, medical products and cosmetics sales increased by 0.2%, mail or internet Sales decreased by 0.7%.

Retail turnover increased by 1.8% compared to the previous month

Seasonal and calendar adjusted retail turnover at current prices increased by 1.8% in October 2015 compared to the previous month. In the same month; food, beverage and tobacco sales increased by 1.0%, non-food sales (excluding automotive fuel) increased by 3.2%, while automotive fuel sales decreased by 0.2%.

Retail turnover increased by 7.9% compared to the same month of the previous year

Retail turnover at current prices adjusted for calendar effects increased by 7.9% in October 2015 compared to the same month of the previous year. In the same month; food, beverage and tobacco sales increased by 17.1%, non-food sales (excluding automotive fuel) increased by 8.3%, while automotive fuel sales decreased by 2.8%.
